Meet Kylie!

Hi! My name is Kylie, I am co-Owner and Operator of Jim’ s Painting Pros. I was born in Akron, Ohio but my early years were spent in Orrville, a small town that would become home. I graduated from Orrville High School in 2007.

While my journey began with a love for painting, it was my relationship with my wife, Korie, that truly shaped who I am today. We met when we were young and have been inseparable for 16 years now. In 2014, we sealed our bond by getting married in New York, a moment in our lives that was as beautiful as it was symbolic of the love and commitment we share.

When I’m not working, my life is filled with things that bring me joy. I’m an avid bowler and enjoy participating in local leagues, but that’s only one of many ways I stay active. Korie and I love spending time outdoors, whether we’re hiking, kayaking, or camping. Summer is a particular favorite, as we love swimming in our pool and making the most of the warm weather. These moments remind me of the importance of balance—of working hard, but also savoring the beauty in the simple things.

At the heart of all of it is our family—though it’s not made up of traditional children, it’s no less full of love. We have five fur babies: Chance, our loyal hound dog; Frank, a yellow lab with a heart of gold; and our three cats, Kush, Kota, and Kalvin, who fill our home with affection and occasional mischief. I often joke that they’re more than pets—they’re our true family, and they make every day a little brighter.

As a member of the LGBTQ community, Korie and I are passionate about giving back. We’re always looking for ways to support others, whether through volunteering, donating, or simply being there when someone needs a helping hand. We believe that everyone deserves the chance to live their best life, and that quality should be accessible to all, no matter their background or circumstances.

Looking back on my journey, I am proud of everything I’ve accomplished, but I’m equally excited about what lies ahead. Life is a beautiful, unpredictable adventure, and I’m committed to making the most of every moment, whether it's through the work I do, the people I love, or the community I’m a part of. Through it all, I hold on to the belief that everyone, no matter their story, deserves to have the chance to thrive and be their true selves.
